BDW: Becca, Do you like working with Russ.
Becca: Not so sure… Russ?
Russ: I can be a pain in the ass..
Becca: No, I’m the pain in the ass.
Russ: No, I am.
Becca: Okay, you’re Right. But I still love you
BDW: Your first CD, “Brainypants” is really fun. It lives in the CD changer in my car. Tell me about the new CD.
Becca: Why, do you want to buy it?
Russ: The first half of the record is “Baresongs”, all stripped down, folksy stuff with acoustic guitars and some sparse harmonies… very quirky, very fun, very Becca.
Becca: And the second part is “F**ksongs”. Plugged in, hard songs about getting hard and plugging in.
Russ: Yeah… it’s about love and fucking.
(pause).
Becca: Russ, are you okay?
Russ: I need to recharge my camera
Becca: That’s okay, I need to get to the theatre… we have a Matinee today.
BDW: Thanks guys…

Baresongs/F**ksongs is baby goes bang’s 2nd album. It starts out with stripped down, soulful acoustic songs with vocals by: Becca Ayers and ends up with raucous songs about sex. There is humor, rock, folk and lots of heart. Baby goes bang is Russ Rowland and Becca Ayers.
